You raise a point I haven't investigated - is the NeverBernie force in the DNC circa 2020 more or less powerful than the NeverTrump force in the RNC circa 2016?

Clearly the DNC apparatchiks hated Bernie in 2016, though Hillary won more primaries (probably even if you strip away the fraud). But in 2020, the establishment is facing a real scare in their quest to turn America into Europe: judicial appointments. Trump is turning the 9th Circus into a legitimate court, and if RBG or any of those other losers punch out, then the Dream is in peril.

All the points you raise with President Bernie are fair. But is that enough for them to Stay Home, especially if the VP is a "Normal" DNC type and has a good chance, from an actuarial perspective, of Assuming Control?

Hmmm, I could see Biden's VP actually 'running things'.

Bernie, at least the first 2 years, would probably send his VP all over the world to Socialist conflabs and funerals to keep him/her off the pages, and thus I strongly doubt Bernie's VP pick will be an Establishment Democrat.

Think of it like this - what if Bernie ran 3rd Party, who would he pick for VP? Gonna pick the same person he would as the Democrat nominee. A hard Leftist like Nina Turner, or an uber-Liberal like Tammy Baldwin.
