“Next: global warming will make us cancel the Olympics.”
If there was a way the global warming could somehow lead to the cancellation of events like the Grammy’s, Oscar’s, etc, I may change my opinion on it.

The sea and temperature are rising, posing a threat to South Floridians way of life, including their customary spot in the NFLs Super Bowl rotation. I live in Florida - my backyard ends in a salt water stream. I have an underground pipe that puts water in that stream when I backwash the pool. The stream level is the same as it's been for years... and I would notice change because the pipe outlet is only a few inches above high tide level. The Miami situation doesn't have anything to do with sea levels rising. If it did - it would mean that water on one side of a glass could be higher than the other side.

hmmmm...
Miami first hosted a Super Bowl 52 years ago.
no mention of how many feet above sea-level the Orange Bowl was back then...

What ongoing, absolute lunacy. Is there nothing that "climate change" will not destroy? These leftist lunatics have no bounds because they are LUNATICS. I laugh at their pathetic predicament. Insane is no way to go through life.

so....the pace of climate change is suddenly going to shift gears and accelerate in ten years? Based on WHAT exactly? That Democrats and other fools believe that 10 years is long enough to not cause immediate panic but short enough to cause some panic. The liars have been saying 10 years for decades and since nothing has happened yet except cooling, then it's time to renew the next 10 year warning.
As any semi literate person can see, climate is cyclical. The year 1979 was the coldest recent minimum, so that's where the alarmist liars start their graphs. BUT NOW IT'S a cooling trend again, so they have to hurry up if they are going to implement their oppressive carbon taxes...
As anyone can see from the graph (or has read THE GRAPHS OF WRATH), the 1930's were hotter than recent temperatures.

The sky falling will also impact Miami super bowls.

The Miami stadium is 10 feet above sea level. The rate of sea level rise has been about 10 inches/ century for the last hundred years. In a mere 12 centuries, the Miami stadium will be below sea level. Unless another ice age causes the sea level to drop again. Or unless the Miami stadium gets torn down before then. Will there still be an NFL in 1200 years?

Since it’s February, as far as I’m concerned, super bowls should be played the old fashioned way: outdoors and in the snow.....lots and lots of snow.

“But climate change likely will be, sooner or later”
total correct. “”climate change” could change things in Miami, and it could be anywhere between a few thousand years and a few million years ...

We just dont know how fast the water is going to rise, Actually, we kinda do. 2.84mm per year. The same as it has been rising for about the last 10,000 years. You will still have about 9 feet, 6 inches of room to breathe.
By the time the water rises up about 10 feet this particular stadium will have probably been torn down over 900 years earlier.

The Miami situation doesn't have anything to do with sea levels rising. That's right. If you don't have bedrock. Then don't build your city on a wet sandy seaside.
