Yesterday, @CaltransHQ transported trailers to a vacant city-owned lot in Oakland where they will provide services & shelter to those in need.

So you're moving the homeless problem from one place to another place. How is that progress?

The thinking here (I’m assuming) is, it’s better to have them corralled altogether in one big area with porta-potties, than sleeping & pooing on sidewalks in front of businesses all over town.

Key point is the vacant, city owned lot. The city pays ZERO taxes on the lot.

Give each homeless, and citizen a land plot, tax free,
and everybody now has a place to be.
