Not clicking on the NYT, but once again, Mr. Brooks, like his elitist brethren demonstrates their innate haughtiness. While the left certainly operates out of a knee-jerk overwrought, uncalibrated manner, incapable of having an intelligent conversation, what Mr. Brooks and his kin simply cannot fathom is that their whole paradigm is wrong, just plain wrong.
They cannot conceive or comprehend that their entire liberal paradigm is wrong and this enrages them. It absolutely enrages them that liberalism, as personified by Barrack Obama, was a complete an abject failure, and that conservative principles, as deployed by Trump, have proven successful over and over again, as they did under Reagan too.
No, Mr. Brooks and his comrades are simply too arrogant to admit that the liberalism they adhere to is wrong and belongs on the ash heap of civilization, and again, rather than admit this failure, they rage against Trump.
“Mr. Brooks, like his elitist brethren demonstrates their innate haughtiness.”
Dunning Kruger.
Atheist John Clees is apparently a friend of Dunning. The way he repeated what Dunning told him is that the characteristics needed to understand that one is wrong are the same characteristics one needs to be right.
If you lack those characteristics, you’ll never be right or understand that you are wrong.
