This may be the guy, who ratted out (leading to many killed) American sources, a few years ago.

Big time turncoat.

Why is this guy not awaiting execution? Letting people who do this live only encourages others.

When will Brennan be incarcerated for his support of Islam against the USA?

Makes you wonder if he had connections to Feinswine’s long-time Chinese spy employee.

FROM THE REPORT:

Jerry Chun Shing Lee, a naturalized US citizen who worked for the Central Intelligence Agency from 1994 to 2007, was arrested in January 2018 for illegally possessing classified US defense information, which prosecutors alleged he turned over to Chinese intelligence agents.

His indictment said that he was living in Hong Kong in 2010 and began accepting payments from Chinese agents who asked him for sensitive information on the CIA.

Very important to compartmentalize INTEL, and especially when naturalized or foreign born individuals are employed (often for valid reasons).

He betrayed no one: He’s Chinese.

It’s that sort of logic that liberals simply cannot comprehend and we get this shit.

I’d prefer to hang the CIA personnel who permitted him the access. They’re the traitors who deserve hanging.

"...possessing classified US defense information"

I wonder...does he have any connection to the people Hillary was passing Talent/Keyhole to? (Lets hope so.)

19 years is hardly enough in my opinion.

He’s naturalized.

Hang him. Then hang whoever hired him.

It’s a plea bargain-type situation. My impression is that the prosecution lacked a smoking gun (i.e. evidence of communications with Chinese case officers that would have tied the case up neatly) for a guaranteed conviction and death sentence/life term.

On his part, guilty or not, he chose to do a plea bargain to avoid the possibility of a life term, or worse. Why would he plead out of a trial and the possibility of exoneration if he were innocent? Because he would need first class (i.e. very expensive) legal representation against the best of the DOJ in order to prevail.

The entire point of an innocent person fighting it out in court is to preserve your reputation. But, in this case, what if you lose? Then your reputation remains in tatters, and you face a life term, or worse.

Note that Manafort got, in effect, a life term for process crimes unrelated to “colluding” with the Russians, which isn’t even a crime in itself. And Flynn, who lacked adequate legal representation due to his financial situation, is similarly getting railroaded. Regardless of whether this alleged perp was guilty, his ability to avoid a life term depended on the quality of his legal counsel. Guilty or not, he may not have had the funds to be sure of avoiding the worst case legal outcome - a life term or the death penalty.

Native level language skills plus ability to blend in. The language aspect alone was sufficient for giving Larry Chin access to the crown jewels, which he pawned to the Chinese.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Wu-tai_Chin

Fact is there’s probably an army of native speakers of Chinese working the China beat, both in intelligence and counter-intelligence. How was a non-Chinese agent or a non-native speaker supposed to convince a Chinese spy stateside that he was a (Chinese) Ministry of State Security case officer subbed in because the regular guy was ill or otherwise indisposed? This was how the FBI bagged a number of Chinese spies/moles on US soil.
