Unless the President was on speaker phone, there is no way Holmes heard this conversation - in a noisy restaurant yet - in the detailed manner in which he is describing it. IMO he only heard Sundland’s portion and then filled in the blanks.

IMO he only heard Sundland’s portion and then filled in the blanks. Sondland testified he wouldn't have held the phone away from his hear. Holmes said he held it well away from his ear.
