Not being self-righteous. Just pointing out that both ways are correct, depending on the context.
I’m not saying you - but apparently, if you don’t pronounce it the way WE say it and have for 50 years - you are a doofus. THAT’s my point. It IS ok to say it either way. And personally - I want my representatives pronouncing the names of the cities right - especially if the country is sensitive about it (which they may be - people are weird).
