maybe it is the manufacturered part of her accent that is throwing me off. It just sounds so different..but then I am used to television Brit accents
She’s from up near Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Their accent is VERY heavy and almost Scottish. She’s definitely self conscious about it and worked hard to rid herself of her accent, but it doesn’t sound soft like natural Londoner English.
