Participated in statewide competition for class slot and finished high enough to get the Academy nomination by one of the Michigan senators, Bob Griffin.

I always regretted not being able to finish my time at Annapolis, but it did all work out for me in the end. I got to where I am now .. happily married, fulfilling career .. because of all that I went through before ...

Still, even after completing 19 years in the Army and retiring with 21 years of military service, I still root for Navy in the Army/Navy game ... and I get razzed to no end by my Army buddies for it.

In the end, even though it's a clash between the Services, it's still a college game ... and that is where I did my college time, even if it was incomplete.

The guy was offered a Ukrainian military position. A member of our NSC offered a position in another hostile country. Let that sink in. The whole DC beltway is filled with these lowlifes from other countries representing all agencies sending the U.S. down the crapper.
