Reading Mirrengoff is like reading a run on sentence— when you reach the end, you have no idea what he is saying. His legalize and verbosity is frustrating. Powerline is a great site, but his writing is futile and exacerbating.

Umm because he was an avaerage quarterback that thought what he wanted was more important than his employer.

He’s a prick. The cost of him on your team, hell the cost of him just being in the NFL is way more than any benefit he can provide.

The league is only just now starting to recover from the damage this jagoff created. They are beyond stupid to let him back in

At the time of his benching in 2015 he was dead last in the NFL in QB ratings, and he was clearly not helping his team. Even Niners legend Jerry Rice said that Kap needed to ride the pine. Kaepernick’s defenders fail to do their research to see how badly he was playing when he got benched. He decided to become an activist rather than improve himself as a QB. That’s why he is where he is today, and that’s not in the NFL!

I never managed to feel sorry for Kaepernick, but do believe it’s wrong to deny employment to an athlete because of his political views and the way he lawfully expresses them.

It is 100% appropriate to fire someone if his conduct on the job harms business profits. It's not that Colin Cancer was leading political activities on his own time; he was showing a shocking level of disrespect for our flag, our anthem, our country, out military, and our ancestors - while in uniform to do his job. I will never again watch NFL, and their tolerance for Colin K's conduct is the reason. They're treasonous but not stupid; they won't volunteer for another round of offending their remaining viewers.

So he’s at best, a journeyman quarterback. Those are a dime a dozen. With all the distractions he would bring to a team, I can’t believe any team would want to sign him.

He wants a media job not an NFL job.

Generally, if you blow off the interview, you won’t be called back.

Once other players learn it is easier to make money using attorneys, then the floodgates of grievances will kill player salaries overall. Kapernick is just showing others how to play the game. I bet he passes out attorney business cards in the locker room. The young players stuck in the projects are the victims of Kapernick.

That and he has to know that if he gets on the field, there are probably a lot of players who are going to be trying to hurt him.

What is the fascination with this cop hater for the NFL owners?

Do they really make helmets big enough for his head? He needs a bushel basket just to cover that mess he calls hair. He’s a freak!

Because he’s a low-talent HACK taking his instructions from his muslim girlfriend?

Just a guess. ;)

His best days as a would be pro quarterback are over. He once had some basic skills but even those skills are now eroded, lost with the sands of time.

The NFL is very stupid to play this game with him.

Oh, I don't know...I think they came out of this looking pretty good.
