Just finished it. Pure crap from episode 1, but I kept hoping as I loved the previous seasons so much.
WORST SERIES ENDING EVER. Yes, worse than “Lost”. Nonsensical, nothing resolved, goofy, unimaginative, completely irrelevant to any thing that happened in the series. One where the writers just KNOW how clever and esoteric they are. When people ask “What the hell was that supposed to be?” They smugly suggest you just aren’t smart enough to “get” it.
Really pissed I wasted my time.
You’re right about the non ending ending in the American Reich. The story is ripe for a sequel. The black communists did get their Union of Soviet Pacific States. That story line could serve as a prequel to how white woke liberals and lbgtistas gained so much power in the central committee over the past fifty years.
Keep mind that Philip K. Dick’s ignorant, commie-woke daughter is executive producer and primary content decider for the show. In fact, in virtually every interview she gave she practically said this show was attempting to tie in the current Trump administration with the Nazis, and that the BCR was the BLM with a 60’s Black Panther flavor.
In short, every damn show that starts out well ends in destruction like this. And the (spoiler alert) final scene where the portal opens up and everyone from every dimension imaginable converges, well gee, that’s ALMOST as believable as a few cells of Huey Newtons taking out the entire Japanese Occupation force with less ammunition than a typical MS-13 gang unit.
At least San Francisco ends up in better condition than it is today in real world 2019. Less poop. But same idiotic communist leadership.
Multiverse illegal invasion. I was really disappointed. Sad and stupid ending.
