If you are reading this vanity I suppose you found the first three season of this program at least mildly entertaining. If so, don't watch season 4. Since this is loosely based on a PKD work, I can accept parallel worlds and portals to and from. What I can't deal with is the PC black communist wet dream that season 4 devolved into. In his most intense LSD induced visions Dick would have never imagined such a ridiculous ending. You have been warned.
Thanks. I watched Season 1 a while back, and found it enjoyable.
In your opinion, does this Season 4 suffer from PC-itis all the way through, or is it concentrated at the end, since you mentioned that in your comment? In other words, is it partially watchable, or PC-polluted all the way through, as many modern productions are?
The thing was always PC. I watched for a while, and I forget exactly where I got off, probably with liking the Germans better than the ‘woke” Americans.
My wife and I watched episodes 1 and 2 of season 4. Horrible! Plus it was so boring and slow. Enough. We’re through.
The left ruins everything they touch...
The Nazi portion of the show remains pretty good and rather Dickian to the end. In the Japanese Pacific States is where the show becomes unwatchable. *SPOILER ALERT* A couple hundred lightly armed black communists defeat the Japanese Empire. Of course, every other American is lying prostrate before their Japanese masters as the band of black communists save the country. I watched till the bitter end (fast forwarding through the black communist wet dream parts).
Just started last night. With the BCR theme in the first episode it crossed my mind if this was going to be straight up fight against totalitarian regimes or weave in some black-power ‘60’s vibe.
I’ll play it out - all I want to see is American’s beat the Japs and Nazis. If you’re saying they don’t - then meh.
Polluted from episode 1
Thanks for the summary.
I wonder why the writers thought this particular plot path was politically useful.
Add to that the Chinese communists are fighting the Japanese occupation in Asia and they are supplying weapons to the Black community in the show. I don't know — to me it is plausible — well, as plausible as being able to cross over into other Earths. LOL
That little band of black communists defeat the Japanese Empire while dissing America, always listening to jazz and giving you all the 60s black power tripe you could ever imagine.
Never watched it, never planned to, never expected anything less.
Season 3 should have told you the lefties were tampering with it.
I stopped half-way through episode 1, season 3.
Your radar must be bad.
Hey, I gave you the heads up. If you make it through the whole thing let me know what you think.
Im retired, a PKD fan and an insomniac. But youre partially right.
SPOILER ALERT* A couple hundred lightly armed black communists defeat the Japanese Empire. Of course, every other American is lying prostrate before their Japanese masters as the band of black communists save the country.

Hmmm... a whole Infantry Companys ration of Magic Negroes. Could have used them in the real WW2. Hollywood screen writers and their long-since spent imaginations.
“Hey, I gave you the heads up. If you make it through the whole thing let me know what you think.”
Roger that. I prefer the Expanse anyway. LOL
You mean the existing Nazi and Japanese take over most of the world, because reasons, plot was more palatable? LOL!
For goodness sakes, they blew up the Statue of Liberty and melted down the Liberty Bell. That actually made my stomach turn more than a great deal of the very disturbing stuff you have to view in each episode!
Alt-history is like crack to me, so I’ll still watch just to see where the scenario goes, even though many plot points the past 3 seasons are so silly and unlikely. That’s part of the “cheese” of shows like this.
What they need is a good alt-history American Civil War show. One that doesnt copy the corny timeline of Harry Turtledove and all of his shameless copycats.
I was watching Super Girl on Netflix and though there was a slight political bias in the beginning by season 4 it became overbearing and I stopped watching it. t was very good until then.
