Barr is supposed to be objective in his management of these critical investigations.
The more he goes out and rails against the Dems, the less objective he appears to be.
They can use that against him to lessen the actual charges (e.g. witch hunt, etc.)

So, by your logic, when the evidence is presented, the dems legitimately cry witch hunt, as opposed to the dems when all they have to present are accusations and charge Trump with obstruction when he fights back.
