Not watching the NFL, but saw the video of the fight.
What a scumbag!
There’s a good video on that fight. Stupid.
Has he been arrested yet? Should be. Assault with intent to cause serious bodily harm.
Looks like the NFL finally figured out these stunts by players are hurting them big time.
Seems maybe Rudolph may have started it by trying to rip off Garrett’s helmet first, at least that’s what is reported; however ...
I noticed also in the game that the upper tier of the stadium seemed to be empty, everyone down lower.
I think Mason Rudolph would have to press charges.
and a groin kick by Rudolph. it’s not who starts it, it’s who gets caught retaliating.
He needs to be fired and banned. And the Steeler that kicked him in the head after he got taken down needs to be suspended.
Ah ... never mind. I see the Steeler was suspended.
Just after the fight, it sounded like the announcers were going to suggest that assault charges should be filed, but they didn’t go there.
Garrett pulled the helmet off the Steeler’s QB and bashed him in the head several times.
At what point do the police come out on the field and start taking these guys off in handcuffs?
For their part, the Steeler’s had a couple of players who were kicking a Brown’s player in the head while he was pinned down. I see that as just as severe.
From watching the video, I’m wondering if Rudolph possibly got his fingers stuck in Garrett’s facemask after being sacked, and in trying to get his fingers out, Garrett thought that Rudolph was trying to pull off his helmet and retaliated. No excuse for swinging the helmet at Rudolph, of course. Garrett deserves his suspension for the rest of the season.
I follow my guy, Mayfield, so of course recorded the game.
(It is so good to be able to press STOP and forward in quarter-second bites.)
I studied it closely, but didn’t know that on top of everything, that it was also a Late hit by Brown’s #95.
I could Not figure out what set #95 off, against the quarterback, in such a personal way.
One comment below the article said.. “I’m sure Helmets will now be banned” [as an assault weapon].
This crushes the Brown’s progress in the team game, as well as shifting their game progress on the field.
What the heck set #95 off???
The announcers thought that Rudolph's hand may have been caught in Garrett's helmet. It was hard to tell.
Whew, thank obama no legal troubles for the animal.
At least the NFL gets some chump change to offset Cupcake Kaepernik’s “workout” losses.
I think Garrett should be suspended from playing for life - no discipline.

THAT Excuse was parlayed by the Beta male announcer who was about as curious as tree bark on what actually lit up #95.
YES, Rudolph attempted to pull off Garrett’s helmet.
But, YES, Garrett THEN reacted, did the same and Succeeded.
The emasculated Announcer was squealing about the delicate condition of Viewers to ever see such a display and wished that it was OFF THE AIR.
