Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch has told Congress that attacks from corrupt interests have created a crisis at the State Dept.

She (Yovanovitch) told lawmakers that she was the victim of “a campaign of disinformation” that used “unofficial back channels” leading to her removal from Ukraine. She says it “continues to amaze” her that Americans partnered with “Ukrainians who preferred to play by the old corrupt rules” in pushing for her removal.
Yovanovitch is also sounding alarm that senior State Department officials did not defend her from attacks from the president’s allies, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani. She is telling lawmakers about a “crisis in the State Department.”
She says: “The State Department is being hollowed out from within at a competitive and complex time on the world stage.” (all emphasis mine)

So, Trump is DRAINING THE SWAMP... I got no problem with that.
Not one of these Deep State jobsworths listened to a word of Donald Trump's campaign promises, nor the pronouncements he made after taking office. They think he is stupid, and beneath them. He said he would downsize all departments, and he often cited how he spent one-tenth of what Hillary spent on her failed juggernaut and won anyway. They didn't pay attention—now they feeeeeel all blindsided.

They need to make up a new charge.

Am I the only one that finds the title of the thread incredibly ironic?
Wasn’t and isn’t trump the victim of a disinformation campaign through official and media channels?
Meanwhile no one ever heard of this person u less they had a compelling interest in the Ukraine.
Golly gee, I guess they’ve forgotten that Bill Clinton fired every republican Federal prosecutor soon after he was elected.

And this is a problem? Funny how no career State-Ees came forward to complain about Hillary misplacing billions of dollars. simultaneously running the phony Clinton Foundation while SoS, and basically just constantly jetting around the world at taxpayer expense to no discernible benefit to the U.S. of A.
One of the Republican members should have responded by saying, "Yea, Trump has been a victim of the same thing."
