Deval Patrick, the former governor of Massachusetts, has announced that he is running for president in the 2020 race. Patrick made it official in an online video posted early Thursday morning.
Patrick was a guest on "CBS This Morning" on Thursday for his first interview following his announcement.
A CBS News contributor since September, Patrick will no longer serve in that role. "Governor Patrick has been a political contributor to CBS News but in light of this decision, the network will be discontinuing that relationship," CBS News said.

If Obama endorses anyone other than Biden then Biden is done. And he's obviously not going to endorse Biden.
But here's the thing: Biden is trying to run as a third term of Obama, and Obama pretended to be a center-left guy. In the context of todays Dem party he's considered a far right person. Of course he's as commie as they are but he never admitted it and they do and so he fails the purity test. His endorsement may not carry as much weight as he thinks it might.
The RATs are going to need a bigger Clown Car.

He is probably there for a VP candidate - and was probably asked to do this by party leaders. The popularity of Trump will black voters - especially MEN - will sink the Dem candidate in the 2020 general election. Trump’s border issue resonate with many blacks thinking of themselves as AMERICANS; like others, they are tired of being surrounded by people jabbering in foreign tongues. For blacks in particular, many of these foreign scabs end up as their supervisors; the animosity is palpable (both ways).
The party leaders looked for the best token and came up with him.

We live in a Donald Trump, Make America Great Again era.
The Deval Patricks of our nation are now Republican Populists ( witness the attendance surveys at Trump Rallies which show that 26% to 30% of rally attendees are registered Democrats), and what Patrick fails to understand, is that the policies of the Democratic party have been abandoned for the established success of the Trump era. That’s why the Democrat party is so desperate, they have no record of accomplishment to run on, and America does not buy their continuing propaganda sported by a publicly distrusted media.
The former liberal fascist** moral superiority approach of the “magic era” of the president of dirty name will no longer work as Deval Patrick thinks.

He waited too long, and Biden isn’t going to give him the VP slot for merely being black. Particularly after running off the screen in NH and IA.
The irony here is I could see Hootie running as Weld’s VP on the Anachronistic ticket, which would possibly eliminate Warrens chance at picking up a single state!
Obama’s choice. Hello Deval, goodbye Joe. Close to 40% of Dem voters are minorities. Harris and Booker are not viable. With the top four candidates consisting of whites, i. e., two old white men, an old white woman, and a young white gay guy, there is no diversity. Biden is dependent upon black support, which evaporated with the entry of Obama bud Patrick.
