As others have noted, this is all hearsay. And it’s all by long term career employees who resent President Trump coming in changing things. They are satisfied with the status quo, corruption and all, and don’t want to lose their power or their place at the trough.

In the July 25th phone call, The President even mentions Biden bragging about holding back a billion dollars in exchange for firing the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating Barisma. So anything from Ukraine would be exculpatory at best.

And the staffer will be unable to provide any more than hearsay information. The need to talk to Sondlin as well to find out the context. The staffer overheard the call on July 26, the day after the Trump-Zelensky call. We have the transcript of the call. The investigations of Burisma, Crowdstrike, and the Bidens were mentioned in the call. The staffer had no knowledge of the July 25 call or its contents. The fact that Trump mentioned the investigations to Sondlin is no bombshell. And Sondlin is voicing his opinion, if in fact that is what he said.

What does it take to “prep” for a CNN interview? You call the CNN European New Office and say that the president of Ukraine is going to make a major announcement and wants them to cover it. A couple of days, max. Done.
Instead they were one month and three weeks after the agreement with President Trump in the July 25th phone call that they would proceed with investigations of the 2016 US elections and Burisma corruption and still had not made the announcement, when they were, to quote Ambassador Taylor and under, under (wear) Kent, VERY VERY interested in having an early meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office, and supposedly KNEW that the very important financial aid to buy military weaponry was on hold as the end of the US fiscal year was then only 21 days away. That makes delay in making such an announcement completely irrational and contrary to their national interests, especially if they were responding to a quid pro quo!
