Upon seeing this story, you might be tempted to think it was about San Francisco, but it actually takes place in Denver, Colorado. Jawaid Bazyar is the owner of a communications company named FORETHOUGHT.net. His building is adjacent to an alley where groups of homeless people, prostitutes and drug addicts hang out. Recently, the problem has spiraled out of control and people have been urinating and defecating in the alley, along with leaving discarded hypodermic needles on the ground.
Despite having complained to the police repeatedly, nothing seemed to change and Bazyar grew distraught at the prospect of his employees having to clean up the potentially hazardous waste. The city of Denver responded by issuing him a citation and fining him for not keeping the property clean. (CBS Denver)
The point the owner is trying to make with the city is that he and his employees are neither trained nor equipped to deal with human waste and hypodermic needles, both of which could potentially carry disease. He describes it as a health hazard and blames the city for not enforcing laws against drug use, prostitution, public defecation and camping on the alleys and sidewalks.
The city disagreed and has informed him that he will be facing additional fines and fees as long as he continues to fail to clean up the alleyway.
The alley is technically Bazyars property, so hes responsible for the upkeep as any business would be. But those rules seem to rely on the assumption that the alley might be filled with the normal garbage and litter one tends to find in city alleyways. This is something very different, and if the city is unwilling or unable to clear out the alley and stop these activities

His best move, if he wants to survive financially, is to put up a For Sale sign and get the hell out of there. The City Hall Pirates will bankrupt him should he remain. Plus, it is only a matter of time before his employees are raped, robbed, mugged and their property is destroyed by Pride of Denver.
There is not one DEMOCRAT RUN CITY that is DECENT or SAFE.
Use a fire hose and spray it into the street - make it the city’s problem as it should be...maybe he should ask them to provide free training for picking up and disposing hazardous waste and then provide the equipment so his people can do it safely and w/o putting trash collectors and dump-site workers at risk...
ROFLMBO... so... you think they're injecting marijuana with those needles?
That prostitution didn't exist before weed was legalized in Colorado?
That the homeless somehow wouldn't be pooping outside if pot was illegal?

I remember when OPP meant Other People’s Pxxxy. Now it means Other People’s Poop. What a world, what a world.
If I had to bet, I’d say Bazyar’s owner is a liberal who votes Democrat - just sayin’.
My town requires me to shovel the town property owned sidewalk in front of my house within 24 hours of any snowfall for face a $50 per day fine.
Our neighborhood has an association, and all the neighbors with lawns at the end of groups of rowhouses are prohibited from gating or fencing them, so that fire engines or EMTs can get to the back of the rowhouses if necessary. Therefore, all and sundry trespass often and make their dogs poop on others’ lawns.
Install motion-activated sprinklers. We have them in the suburbs to keep deer off the costly shrubs.
Buxtehude on the grand organ, or Lord Nelson Mass by Haydn, or "I Got You, Babe" by Sonny & Cher.
The reason for an alley is to create a pass-through in case of fire or other emergency if his property is the only way out for people in neighboring apartment dwellings, etc. So most municipalities don’t allow gating them.
LOL!
Transport the waste to the mayors front yard.
BRILLIANT!
I wonder if hiring an armed security guard to chase the bums out would help.
Perhaps scoop with a shovel, and dump it on the steps of City Hall?
ya gotta love it...
