Yep, isn’t “camping” great? We are the same way, Propane serves us very well. It is amazing how much cooking you can do on a propane stove compared to an electric per dollar. Propane stoves even use half as much gas flow as a natural gas stove for the same BTU output. We can put a five gallon can on our coach and if we just use the cook stove we can make it almost three months. That is a cost of only about $4 a month. But in turn, an electric water heater is cheaper to run than a propane hot water heater.
Which is fine for those who don't want hot water.
You are right about the Propane stove using less gas to do the same cooking. A propane stove even has to have smaller orfices for the gas to keep the flames below WW2-Flame-Thrower Level.
I found THAT out the hard way! LOL!
