btw, my experience in the Army was that Commissioned Officers over the rank of 03 (Captain) were politicians more than leaders of their troops, or at least traveling down that road. Had a LTC Bn Cmder, when I was a Company Cmdr. Guy was a “smiling face”, back stabber.

Why are people ignoring the announcement of the rotation of personnel back to where they came from? It’s not as good as it looks at first glance...if the NSC chief is telling the truth. We can only keep our fingers crossed that appropriate measures about his conduct will be taken once back in the department where he came from.
