A lot of people have been paying attention to Amy McGrath's candidacy and whether radio host Matt Jones will join the Kentucky Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will face some opposition in his re-election bid.
Despite losing in the House district last year, a Madison County Republican is setting his sights on Kentucky's most powerful politician: Senator Mitch McConnell. Wesley Morgan is hoping people will give him a shot at McGrath or Jones or whomever wins the Democratic nomination.
"If I was Mitch McConnell,” said Wesley Morgan, “I wouldn't take it as granted as he thinks that his reelection is.”
Mr. Morgan is a businessman who lost his primary in 2018 to Representative Deanna Frazier, who went on to hold the seat for the GOP super-majority.
Recently we caught up with him at the Kentucky Farm Bureau Ham Breakfast where he voiced frustration that many are focusing on Leader McConnell taking on retired fighter pilot Amy McGrath while both still have to get through their party's primary.
“Mitch McConnell only has 33 percent approval rating in Kentucky,” he argued.

Mitch McConnell was OK (as in gave his blessing) with the democrats using special fraud techniques (computer/ballot tampering/destruction) to get rid of Bevin (who did himself no favors) this past election. They used the same methods in Arizona and a couple of other places in 2018. Change my mind.

Mitch McConnell has a first problem, in which he and other blue blood Senators find President Trumps populist movement troubling, unpredictable, and contrary to the established influence of special interest lobbyists.
Mitch McConnell’s second problem is that he elieves that he and his fellow blue blood Senators are myths in their own minds, that somehow they are dispensing some form of wisdom
from on high and that their conduct therefore should not bear the scrutiny of the ignorant electorate.
For these really mistaken reasons Mitch McConnell has a p[lan to conduct an impeachment trial of Donald Trump for six weeks, and has indeed already been in talks on the matter with Democrats from the House. The facts show that there is not even any evidence of a prima facie case against the President for alleged Ukrainian corruption quid pro quo.
In conducting such a 6 week trial, Mitch McConnell would join the propaganda band wagon to make sure that the Democrats win the election in Nov. of 2020, possibly taking the house , Senate and the Presidency, while Mitch McConnell basks in the delusion of honorable appearances.
Since MitchMcConnell appears to be making plans for a 6 week prpagand afest in the Senate to sure up the Democrat Party and its socoalist radicals, then there is a patriotic hope that McConnell be primaried out in november due to his secret machinations to help the Democrat party end the popul;osy movement in America, a threat felt by both democrat and Republican establishments.
If McConnell brings about a furtherance of the Democrat liberal fascist election agenda, they will never be able to impeach the president on the facts,but they may swing the election through false narrative, and America will become so divided that violence will be sure to follow . bringing America close to , if not actually in a Civil War.
Yes, McConnell unfortunately has to go. He has proven himself to be a creature of vested interest, rather than a necessary patriot.All indications are that McConnell will not rise ti the occasion to act properly and deny that an impeachment trial is warranted.
I also want McConnell GONE, this BASTARD has done NOTHING during this whole damn Russia and Ukraine BS to help our POTUS, not ONE thing or hearing in Senate judiciary to counter the Dems in the house TURTLE needs to GO!! He is an open borders, globalist SCREW HIM!!!

Definitely. Some competition just might take the glow off, for McConnell, his beloved, and adored, and unconstitutional, Senate rules.

KY has obviously been targeted. The progs are trying to take Congress any way they can.
Any threats to KY GOP (e or not) should be used to fight the ongoing and soon-to-be fraud.
Vet everyone thoroughly. A lot of people once loved Paul Ryan, remember? OTOH, no one is perfect.
If the progs were afraid of conservatives with principles, why do they focus group Trump voters twice a week on every platform? Possible answer: they are looking for micro issues, personality differences, anything at all to sway any voter at all from anyone at all who is helping Trump. Leverage the right pebble and who knows? Maybe it starts an avalanche.

You may be mistaken , for we ALL will be under a diminution of 1st, 2nd and 5th amendment rights. The 1st amendment is actually pretty much compromised now, we no longer have a free press. The 2nd amendment will fall to burgeoning, draconian legislation snf regulation, such as red flag laws.
Very few people will be even able to get into court in the future. Civil war is on the horizon, many states and cities are sanctuary cities, no longer a part of federal law and order.
Its a tinder box. Yet people like McConnell bury their heads ion the sand. Just as in other countries throughout modern history. McConnell cpould very well awaken one morning with a fascist knife at his throat.
