You'll have to admit that it is appropriate that the first recruiting station for our Beloved Corps was a bar...
The first Marine ever recruited was told to report to a ship.
The OOD didn't know what to do with him, so he told the first Marine to wait on the fantail.
The second Marine every recruited shows up, and the OOD tells him to join the first.
They look each other up and down, and then the first Marine says, "Now in the Old Corps...."
