“I suspect notthereyet may be a splittail”
_____________________________
Last I looked at myself in the mirror I was a fully (over fully, actually) formed human being, not a fish.
Mr Gilio was still in the phase of recusing and his emotions were still quite raw.
That said, neither of you apparently *missed* the fact that I said nothing against his actions. Nothing at all.
Those who are apparently interested in this discussion need to go back to the original ping that I was addressing.
That particular violence is not needed. It only reduces the person doing it to the level of the rapist.
Satan enjoys and encourages the actions coming out of the emotion of rage for the wrong reason, let alone out of the rage humans feel when it’s for the correct reasons.
Mix it up, call me a fish (?), I’m okay with it.
Get between me and mine and it’s over.
After the fact, though, I must rely on the Lord God to get me through it and that does include if justice does not seem to be getting served.
When we resort to behaving like those violent men and women when there is no need, what we’re actually saying is “I don’t quite trust that the Lord God will avenge me.”
It matters. It really does.
I find it odd because of my belief system that it’s assumed what I can and cannot do, or what I’ve done or not done.
Enough has been done by me in this life to be utterly grateful for Salvation.
There’s a chance of reverting to my Old Self as I’m only human. I am determined not to cross that line.
Not a Pacifist. Not a Liberal.
Just NotThereYet...
It is good to hear a message such as yours. There is indeed a line there. Violence in a need is valid. Violence for the sake of it is not. We are indeed called to trust our Lord. Thanks.
