Let me be clear:
It’s not to be your concern who I have or have not killed or paid someone to kill.
It’s only by the Grace of the Salvation that I am at this time in my life, alive.

Self defense is perfectly fine with me. In times of extreme rage in the protection phase of protecting those we love and those we hold to be precious is understandable.

No. That is in ‘the flesh’ and part of sinning.
You want to eliminate a rapist caught in the act, and you are the person who caught him/her/them and you can save someone’s life or physical being by taking the life of the offender/s?
Fine by me. I truly have no issue with that.
Violence done to someone after that phase out of a sheer anger to cause them harm before death?
You’re now on the slippery slope of being an animal, yourself.
If you wish to devalue yourself to that level, then there are very few that can reason with you or keep you from doing that, short of force.
As for myself, having walked through a few things I do not intend to repeat I’d rather die and face my Lord than do some things, again.
Acting in sheer rage is one of them.
