“The GOP tallied more votes Statewide for both the House of Delegates and the State Senate.”

I noticed there were a lot of uncontested races (either a Dem or a Rep did not put up a candidate).

Any idea if that affected the state-wide vote totals in favor of one party on the other?

In Virginia it looks like suburban college educated women like black.faces and alleged women rapist.

These voters should be shamed. There I said it.

“Two can play that game.”

Unfortunately only the Dems play.

No one energizes our base like @realDonaldTrump.

In Kentucky, the governor was down 17 points.

The Rats Contested far more seats than the GOP. So that figure actually favored the Rats tremendously as well. The GOP didn’t field candidates in 24 freakin HOD seats.

Bevin just p*ssed a lot of conservatives off.

Actually it was the teacher's union he pissed off. There are over 40,000 teachers in Kentucky. They were against him 10 to 1 for trying to solve their pension fund mess. The teachers dragged their friends to the polls. Schools are closed for election day, so the teachers can be political workers.

”There’s no reason that we should be losing ANY of these elections.”

There’s one BIG reason, and it’s called “Republicans”.

They’re selling a product nobody wants.4

It looks like quite a few also voted for the Libertarian. Third party candidates always seem to affect the Republican side. That is what gave us two terms of Clinton.

Well that shows the effects of the gerrymandering in Virginia.

The Republicans got more votes for the house of delegates and state senate, yet the Democrats have a majority of the seats in each house of the legislature now.

One problem I heard, is that the GOP didn’t even have candidates on the ballot in a number of the legislative districts. Well I understand that it would be an uphill battle to win some districts, but if we don’t even have a candidate on the ballot, when they win by default.

“Beshear will be able to do little in the face of all GOP statehouse.”

He’s still a damned commie and can make plenty of administrative mischief. Just for hoots I would like to see him propose gun laws by executive order. He gets a zero from the NRA.

No I’m not sure we can do better than Sasse. Ever see a movie where bands guys beat up a guy and he’s down? Then some wimp comes along kicks him so he feels like he was part of the fight and looks tough. Thats exactly what a lot us see Sasse as. Opportunist.

“What about Den voter fraud?”

Trump has to institute a nationwide secure voter ID system in order to end the massive election fraud that Democrats use every single election.

Even Mexico has a far more secure voting system than we do, using tamper proof voter ID, AFAIK built for them by IBM. That new Mexico system ended one party rule by the PRI.
