In Virginia, Democrats are seeking to flip control of the state legislature, where Republicans hold a one-seat advantage in both the state Senate and House of Delegates. Democrats are eyeing seats in the northern Virginia counties outside of Washington, D.C. that have grown more liberal in recent election cycles.

The Democrats will now control redistricting...that will be difficult to make a comeback from since they were able to win with the existing districts. They will also be able to flip US House seats with this power.
Senate and House were not up. There are supermajorities for the Republicans in both Houses in Kentucky.

They don’t call the GOP the Stupid Party for nothing. The GOP has melted away on large swaths of the coasts. Sadly, Virginia seems to be adding itself to the list of formerly red and now blue states.

I think part of the problem is the huge Federal Bureaucracy in DC.
Trump is trying to disperse these scum throughout the country to dilute their impact.

Yes, but that doesn’t change the fact they will now be drawing their own district lines as this is the legislature that will do that...it is more than a “flesh wound.” It will be much more difficult to come back from.
