They voted down ballot GOP. Same Jefferson voters split their votes in the governor’s race.

No. The Breshears are DEEP into the state. Generations of hold politically. Their whole family and cabal is huge in power. His whole past few years was dragging Bevin into court constantly. Sound familiar?

Bevin tried to clean up failing Jefferson County schools and made the teachers mad.

This result actually depresses me for the entire country. Bevin has TRIED to SAVE the teacher retirement system, and they vilified him for it. Our teachers are dumber than rocks, and hyper-partisan. They believe whatever drivel their union leaders tell them.

Ky is a microcosm for the country: Urban vs Rural. They just have TOO MANY libs in them cities.

For anyone else curious....there are about 43,000 public school teachers in Kentucky.

And that doesn’t count retirees.

Bet most didn’t vote for Bevin.

KY Democrat politicians (and probably their voters too) are among the dirtiest anywhere. OTOH, show me a state you *can’t* say that about.

Daddy Breshears stole the vast majority of the teachers retirement fund and these so-called educated people are going to vote for junior. Get ready for medical weed to replace pension funds.

Then how do you explain the GOP sweep? Not exactly urban vs rural and conservative vs liberal.

Note to Kentucky’s teachers: States can’t print money. You’ve moved back the date a bit, but it will suck to be you.

They’re a minority. Take it for its worth, the state will go big for Trump again next year.

"Its a good night for the GOP. Our President is owed thanks for the win!"

He did his best to help. If Bevin ultimately loses, the Dem will be very lonely in the capital, because the GOP will control everything else.

If there are 43,000 teachers in Ky, 53,00 of them voted AGAINST Bevin. They have become, literally insane, with their HATRED for the guy who tried to save their retirement system from Bankruptcy. I will LAUGH at them when it all goes bust,
