She should have had an anchor spot or her own show long ago with Fox if that was what she wanted. She is impeccable. Fox’s loss. She is one correspondent I trust. Apparently, so do her sources.

I don't think the job description for anchor is anywhere close to that of good reporter.

She is a digger, a kind of detective, if you will. One of the best at finding the truth when others are trying hard to hide it.

That talent would go to waste as an anchor who just reads the teleprompter.

That said, she might have done really well as a "news producer." But that job would ignore her skills in front of the camera.
