Any Republican that didn’t vote for this needs a primary challenge.

Every slimy politician has a pet goat that they intend to save and they have a reason to oppose the legislation just enough to allow their buddies who are in close races to vote for it.

Garbage In, Garbage Out. Everybody wants the government to cut spending, except for their pet program.

We have met the enemy, and he is us!

Without question, I’m afraid. We passed 100% with barely any public concern, and there doesn’t seem to be any serious constituency for restraining spending, let alone the draconian spending cuts actually required. We’ll be at 200% before the next decade is out, or sooner if there is another big recession.

And in other news, Heroin junkies overwhelmingly reject any cuts to their supply of smack.
