Trump is ALWAYS 10 steps ahead of the everyone.

The best thing Trump has going for him is that the left consistently underestimates him and thinks he is a moron. It puts Trump at a huge advantage.

The ONE and only one thing I think has ever caught Trump off guard that the libs have done is how quickly they moved on impeachment. It allowed them for the first time in his entire presidency to get ahead of the story and set the narrative. But Trump quickly recovered and is back in control, and turned the whole incident into a rope-a-dope.

The United States remains perfectly capable of wielding its vast intelligence and military capabilities when it chooses to do so in support of U.S. national security objectives.

This is an epic feat of diplomacy, military precision, and force. The troops must absolutely love our President.

And the question screams in my mind: What was being done with these capabilities before Trump?

Yep, repeat of Afghanistan where they burned billions for nothing and admitted such years later.

Simple questions...
1) What is in America’s best long term interest in spending our blood and treasure in the Middle East?
2) What are America’s treaty commitments in the Middle East?
3) Do other nation states have interests and treaty commitments in the Middle East, and if so who and what are they?
Get those figured and we might be able to have a conversation. IMHO, and WRT Syria, a country we have no diplomatic relations with, we have no rationale to be there. We do have commitments with neighboring countries (e.g. Turkey is a NATO member), and we need to honor our agreements so they will honor their agreements with us. IOW, get the bejesus out of that sand pit.

Like Trump said in his presser, Intelligence people should be doing great things like this, not attempting to overturn elections with illegal spying under Brennan and Clapper and Comey.

"President Trump was right not to trust erratic Pelosi or her leak-prone Democrat colleagues like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff with advance notice of such a dangerous mission."

My admiration for this POTUS grows and grows. President Trump's rate of successes are matched only by Pelosi's rate of spite and malice with no successes.

I think it is one of those “Be careful what you ask for” moments. Putin thought he could offset his costs with the oil and that isn’t going to happen. Their cost benefit analysis relied on a benefit that did not actualize. The cost portion did. A sticky wicket for sure.

Syria is only a blood-stained sandbox because of the Obama White House.

Big Ears literally created ISIS and destabilised Syria and Iraq. His cronies took over Ukraine and tried to start a war with Russia.

It’s great that the US is no longer deliberately f*cking up the area. Good for President Trump.

Kudos to Pres. Trump for overturning the rock of failed Western military strategy in Syria...and crushing the skulls of the vermin that came crawling out.

Now remove ALL the US forces and let the Syrian government and their Russian allies finish dealing with the Sunni extremists that are left.

Declare victory and go home.

The left is so reflexively against Trump that they have lost their ability to think objectively. Their first response is to criticize Trump, regardless of the facts. And when it turns out that Trump is doing good things, they seem incapable of recognizing it or giving him credit. Meanwhile, the normal person, not entangled with Trump Derangement Syndrome, can see that the media reports are often wrong, and the results of Trump’s policies are usually good.

one thing I think has ever caught Trump off guard that the libs have done is how quickly they moved on impeachment.

He was not off guard. He's been expecting this since the Dems took the House in Jan. The Dems were caught off guard by the utter meaninglessness of the Mueller report.

In only 60 days their stumbling efforts to cobble together some -- any -- rationale for bringing impeachable charges has so offended established procedure for impeachment, the Senate will have every reason to simply stop the effort at the door for the House's having failed to follow traditional procedure for such a serious action.

I could see McConnell and Graham receiving the impeachment charges and sending them straight back to the House without even reviewing, because the source of the accusations and methods of prosecution have been so tainted by the House's failure to follow procedure. The House will look rabid and Trump will run on their inability to address things the electorate sent them to do.

50 of 53 (R) senators have already signed Graham's motion effectively declaring the the (D) House impeachment effort DOA.

I think Trump is having a great time with this. The more the House tries to deprive him of due process in this effort the worse it gets for the Dems.

Not un-anticipated by Trump at all.
