Doesn’t matter who the D’s run.... They are going to be crushed.

Every 4 years the political eco system goes nuts, but the reality is, short of MAJOR MAJOR events, the outcomes are far more regular than any of the punditry want to admit.

Simple facts:

Incumbent wins. Regardless of party, only 4 times in the last 120 years has a president who won their first term not been elected for a second term, that has run for one. Of those 4, 3 were taken out purely based on the economy. So you have 1 time in 120 years where American’s have not re-elected a sitting president that they elected previously, when the economy was not in the crapper. PARTY OF PRESIDENT DOES NOT MATTER.

Presidents up for re-election (re-election meaning they actually won an election in the first place for the presidency) and win re-election, with the sole exception of Obama, win re-election by larger margins than they did in their initial election.

The Democrats are in a position where that, short of a massive economic collapse before next november or some other event of that sort of magnitude, their odds of winning are about as close to statistical NIL as you can get.

Best case they can hope for is holding the house in 2020, regardless of who the nominee is...

Hillary took herself out with the “Russia Agent” story.
The Democrat rank and file will not forget that one.

Lizzie Warren took herself out with the Gray Beaver story.
Biden took himself out by pushing Ukraine.
Indiana and the Midwest is never going to back Buttplug.
Irish Bob and Bloomberg took themselves out with radical gun control.

They all did it to themselves.

Look for a Stealth Candidate to ride to the rescue sometime in Jan-Feb timeframe.
Right now, I can’t think of one but they will have to be very rich to do it.
