I started with a 795, now I’m a dedicated fan of the Marlin 60.
Get an older one 1980-1983, still had 22” barrel, 18 round magazine.
Serial number staring with 20-—, 19——, 18-—, 17-——
I got one my mom bought me in 1978 from K-mart.
Marlin model 60 with some medallion in the stock.
17 round in the tube. It works fine.
