The whole story is a pile of nonsense. For one thing, the event isn't even going to be held until next summer. Secondly, it's hard to take any claim about President Trump "personally profiting" from an event like this when he doesn't even accept the salary he is paid in office and is likely to be one of the only U.S. presidents in history to leave office less wealthy than he was before he was elected.

It may not be illegal or a money-emolument.....but, holding the international summit there would be a billion dollar, world-wide advertisement for his resort....and it doesn't LOOK good.....and even his base and a dope like me knows this.
The Prez needs to take a chill pill, or take a 4 or 5-day R & R in his own resort.
