LaFarge cement factory? Would any U.S. elected officials and/or their relatives be on that multi-national’s payroll? That would certainly explain the knee jerk reactions to Trump’s push to get us out of Syria.

The inquiry followed reports by French journalist Dorothée Myriam Kellou, published by Le Monde and FRANCE 24, which uncovered the deals Lafarge made with an array of armed groups, including the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorist group, in order to keep the cement plant operating. ISIL had captured the plant on 19 September 2014.[28] In 2017 the LafargeHolcim executives were investigated for these claims in the civil and criminal courts.[29][30]
