I don’t like to talk ill of the dead, but we have a major problem when lifelong politicians hold on to their office all the way until death. Who benefits from doing so? Surely not his constituents, especially when they have not a clue that he is sick.

Notice how the Democrats kept this a secret right
up until his death. I live in Maryland near Cummings'
district and there was no hint in the local TV reporting or
the local papers or radio stations that Cummings was
ill. Everyone was kept in the dark. Why?
