They can have my AR-15. But only my AR-15 - that POS has the bolt carrier stuck midway into the buffer tube and the previous owner welded or somehow stuck the front pin in such a way that it’s basically a hinge. I bought it that way years ago in a package deal with other things I wanted.
Now, if they want my FAL, my AKs, my AR *pattern* rifles? That’s a slightly different story.
If you dont want it, Ill take it off your hands.
Loosen the castle nut securing the buffer tube to the lower and unscrew it. Capture the spring and detent under the endplate cap as you loosen the nut so it doesn’t get lost. Unscrew the buffer tube fully and pull the BCG back through the hole. Pull the rear pin to lift the upper. Check for the buffer retainer pin and spring. A new buffer tube, spring and buffer may be required to make a good repair.
