I may fix it someday, but if they start demanding we turn in our AR-15s, I will happily turn that POS in if they agree to try to make it work. Which would be worth it to watch. It’s a pile of junk I paid $100 or so for a while ago. It’s also the only actual Colt AR-15 I have. I have other AR *pattern* rifles, but if they just want my AR-15 I am inclined to let them have this one. (Under the category of “hey, look, free garbage collection and immense frustration on the part of the person that picks it up and tries to clear it.”)

It’s like buying a $50 used Jennings, then turning it in at a ‘buy back’ to get the $200 gift card - you remove some of their cash, you also get rid of a garbage gun and you get value in return!

If the bolt is stuck in the buffer tube, it could be bent. Probably just needs a new buffer tube. Not sure how someone could screw up the take-down pin, though. I use the KNS pins.
