It’s time someone put their foot down.
And that foot is me.
I don't care what the Left says about him being unpresidential, he's the best president in my lifetime. Bar none.
Finally a president who just doesn't take the blows from his opposition. He punches back harder. I admire him for that.
This is not about decorum. This is about action. No one that I know of would be able to withstand what he has taken and come out fighting. Anyone else would have buckled and wilted under the onslaught by the Left.
Like he always says. The anti-Trump, anti-American Left is not after him so much as they are after us, his deplorables.
He's just in their way.
The White House Counsel has ever-so-politely pointed out to them they have no rope, hood, gallows, thirteen steps, or even an indictment, much less a properly empaneled gang of kangaroos to play the grand jury. . . and the person they want to play the role of the accused is going home and he’s taking his neck and his friends with him. They can play act all they want.

I think that is a big part of it. The years long Russian meddling investigation wasn’t really about looking for election interference or any serious attempt to bring down the President. Heck the ‘rats knew they had done far more. That was simply about having a platform to release sound bites, rumor, and FUD. Because it never went to court, it never had to be substantiated or sworn to. The impeachment “inquiry” is exactly the same thing. They know it would never get through the Senate. Heck it might not even get through the House if some of the ‘rats start worrying about blowback in the election. Pelosi et. al. doesn’t want to bring it up for a vote, because it would be fish or cut bait time. A less formal “inquiry” can be dragged out with less process to follow. They once again have a platform to sling unsubstantiated claims and questionably legal accusations from. The last thing they want to do is tear down that platform with an actual vote. Heck, the legal battles could, and almost certainly would blow back on them. Discovery is a scary prospect for people with as much illegal, immoral, and downright slimy activities to hide from potential voters. Smart play for the President is to push for a vote, make the ‘rats back off from what they claim to be so eager about. Of course, a little (or a lot of) hypocrisy has never been a problem for the leftists.
