This is PDJT forcing the House to have a vote on a formal impeachment inquiry. They can not vote on contempt charges against the Ambassador without a formal subpoena, which they did not issue because they haven’t opened a formal inquiry.
I also think PDJT wants to force this into the court but does not want to be the one asking the court to intervene. If the House does not charge the ambassador with contempt then they are admitting that they can not compel testimony or documents.
By circumventing the rules the House/Pelosi have placed themselves in a lose-lose situation.
What a show by Shifty just a few minutes ago. Apparently his speech was printed on the ceiling as he couldn’t keep his eyes off the ceiling. I’ve heard about people shifting their eyes to the left or right - depending on whether or not they are lying or just recalling. I don’t have any idea what it would mean when someone’s eyes constantly shift (HA!) up to a ceiling.
House Dems aren’t just conducting a witch hunt, they are actively trying to obstruct Barr’s investigation into shady international dealings under Obama/Biden.
Shifty keeps harping on the Obstruction of Justice.
He is panicked because he knows all too well, the Ukraine/biden affair is really about the IMPLEMENTATION OF JUSTICE.

They send a letter and pretend that it’s a supeana.
Trump is right to deny these fools.

Maybe the President should make a blanket statement that until a roll call vote for impeachment is taken with the full House, the White House will not cooperate. Once the vote is taken and the House approves impeachment, the White House will fully cooperate, just as the WH fully cooperated with the Mueller probe.
