A highly sensitive, fully functional BS Detector is a great personal and professional asset. You've done them a greater service by developing that trait in your kids than you would have by completely insulating them from the BS.
Yeah, hubby and I were quite disappointed by that. What I find is that inserting this into a show just stops the show in its tracks while we are visually lectured to by the Hollywood people (who know better).
Fortunately, there is such a thing as "Fast Forward", which helps a lot in these situations.
