"During a campaign event yesterday evening, Sen. Sanders experienced some chest discomfort. Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days," said Sanders’ senior adviser Jeff Weaver on Wednesday in a statement. Good point! It won’t be made by the enemedia. But Rush and the rest should point to it as an example.

Amarin’s Drug Vescepa which currently is labeled for high triglycerides greater than > 500 is looking for expanded label in December based on their Reduce-it trial. That five year 8,000 patient trial showed an 30% reduction in Heart attaches and strokes for those on a Statin vs Statin alone.

It isn't entirety clear exactly how Vescepa works. Fast forward to a 3rd party Amarin sponsored study “Evaporate” which is ongoing but will have a nine month interim read out next month. The basis for the trial is if Vescepa reduces arterial plaque. I'm 100% positive that it will show that (based on Japanese studies of the same active ingredient in Vescepa) especially at the conclusion of what will be an 18 month study. Essentially Vescepa will be known as a "liquid stent". Earlier this year The American Diabetes Association added Vescepa to their standard of care list earlier this year. I have no doubt that many lives and amputeed legs will be saved amongst the Diabetes population.

Someone will have to jump in, IMHO. Not one of their current crop is electable in a general election. Well, Biden might have had a chance but he is done now.

“Bernie prolly feels a lot better since getting that coronary artery opened up.”

I noticed at some campaign event over the weekend that Breadline was struggling getting up a short flight of Stairs to get to the podium. Whether this procedure helps him is hard to know. After all he is 78 years old and has lived fat off the Taxpayer and crooked Wife’s back his whole life.

How ironic he wants to do away with it.

He doesn't want to do away with it for him. Just for the little people, like you and me and our loved ones.

Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted.

How many months would that have taken under socialist government controlled medicine?

I would vote for Trump with 12 stents. I wouldn’t vote for Bernie if it was to save my own life.

“Someone will have to jump in, IMHO. Not one of their current crop is electable in a general election. Well, Biden might have had a chance but he is done now”

And that is worrisome. Don’t underestimate the stupidity of the American population to get caught up in some hyped up “popular” candidate with no basis they can do the job other than they like the person for all the wrong reasons. Not unlike Arnold in California. Lists include Michael O’Bama, Oprah..... The left and unfortunately most (not all) women wouldn’t think straight when entering the voting booth.

Good work friend in early 50s was having a little trouble catching his breath. Boss sent him home and said see your MD. MD gave EKG...nothing showed but sent him to cardiologist later in the morning. Cardio put him upon the stress machine. Again nothing but the doc called Long Island Jewish cardio center and set up a nuclear stress test. My friend walked in to LIJ at 3PM. Cardiologist said to forget the stress test and set him up for a catherization. Found a blockage in an artrrial branch, put in a stent. Kept tim overnight. He was back at work a day later. He’s a big lefty who wants single payer. I told him I was happy he was okay but that there was no other country in the world where he could walk i to a PCP’S office at 10 AM with mild symptoms and be wheeled into a recovery room at 6PM the same day fully repaired. He had to agree.

Just how soon will he try to make political hay out of this? It’s second nature for all politicians to do so.
