The Scripps researcher stressed that there was no link between this event and climate change. Satellite data since the 1990s has shown that Amery is roughly in balance with its surroundings, despite experiencing strong surface melt in summer.I am impressed. The BBC publishes a sane and rational statement about this iceberg.
That might not have happened since the early '60s either. :)

Who bothers with ice? I agree with your preference most of the time.
But some of the heavy peat scotches need a bit of water or ice for my taste.

with all that’s going on, my first thought was how similar this is to when Bill Clinton launched rocket attacks right after his semen was found on the blue dress.

I tried some of those stones you keep in the freezer. Did not seem to cool the scotch very well. Probably because much of the cooling with ice is absorbed in the melting process?

Wow! Thank goodness the one in the’60’s was worse, or this would be blamed on climate change! ...probably too late, huh? (Even though the expert denies it).

Science is that precise. Just look how accurate the predictions have been about the weather, stock prices, elections, and the exact results of climate change at 1942 on October 1, 2119.

Who bothers with ice? Lots of people
But this is a possible entrepreneurial opportunity.
Think of all the rich scotch drinkers out there that would pay a premium price for Antarctic ice for their drinks.
There is an ice mine drifting North out there waiting for someone with the funds to make it happen.
