I see where they are going now. It is a conflict of interest for Trump to investigate his accusers as the chief law enforcement officer of the US. They are going to say he should have recused himself.

He’s had a lot of detractors here on FR, but I was impressed when he was nominated for one big reason: In his prior tenure as AG back in the first Bush administration, his defining political/legal philosophy was his rock-solid defense of the Executive Branch’s independence from Congress under the U.S. Constitution.

Must agree the full plan is coming into focus now. It’s serious as hell. Trump’s patient long game may have been a big mistake.
The desperation of the Deep State is palpable. What they’re trying to charge Trump is a nothing burger. What they’re attempting to hide is what’s causing these desperate actions.
