Sounds like Mitch is encouraging the rats to me. If the majority votes to impeach but not by enough to convict it will really hurt Trumps re-elect chances. So the rinos will be ok with handing the election to Warren or one of the others. I would not be surprised to see Mitch cut a deal with the rats to find a consensus candidate because Mitch knows Trump will not withdraw. I agree with another poster if this goes to trial ANYTHING can happen.

Remember Mitch talking about the need to cut Social Security - about 10 days before the 2018 election. It was as if he wanted to encourage people to go out and vote Democrat so GOP would lose the House - and Trump would get impeached
