You're right of course. President Trump knows that although Pelosi calculates that impeachment is a massive losing proposition for the Democrat/Left, she needs to regularly feed raw meet to her rabid base which has been consistently disappointed over the past three years.

I think the President's strategy is brilliant: Toss a juicy bone to the whacked-out Democrat/Left base, then sit back and watch as they realize -- as they've done time and time again -- there is no meat on the bone. The DEOOTEM technique: Drive 'Em Out Of Their Effing Minds ... and do so repeatedly.
