It's been six months since the heckling stopped. Six months since the last White House press briefing.... The media loved Donald Trump for decadeswhen he was an accessible real estate mogul and author, when he was a reality TV star, and whenever they needed a pithy quote about anything. But from the day he announced his run for the presidency as a Republican theyve smeared him, heckled him and tried to ruin him. Trump has tried dealing with the national media in various ways, including returning their heckles from the stages of his massive rallies. They just go on distorting everything he says and does and giving him no credit for the booming economy or anything else. The media hecklers arent helping anyone and never were. By eliminating the White House press briefing, Trump has simply removed the hecklers' opportunities by halting the daily spectacle.

Fine? How can you say the country is fine when liberals everywhere have a massive butthurt?
I would like to see press briefings
not as long as the press behaves like total idiots and seditionists
hard questions, fine
propaganda grandstanding and offensive, rude conduct.. nyet!
...well, I used to work at the White House until cartoonish network hacks destroyed our credibility.
It was nothing but a chance for these egotistical journalists to get on TV.
Trump just holds his own pressers
He understands how to control the media. There was never anyone like him before, and probably won’t be again.
Country’s doing great. Kind of begs the question of what does the President need a Press Secretary and a White House Communications Office for? He’s doing just fine on his own.
Another unnecessary waste of time eliminated.
Chopper pressers are the best pressers. He holds one several times a week.
Very true even among presidents he stands out as extraordinarily unique.
Right now we have less noise pollution. I like that.
