Saudi Arabia displayed remnants of what it described as Iranian drones and cruise missiles used in an attack on Saudi oil facilities as undeniable evidence of Iranian aggression.
Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki said a total of 25 drones and missiles were launched at two oil plants in last weekends strikes, including what he identified as Iranian Delta Wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and Ya Ali cruise missiles.

Of course Iran sponsored the attack. Even if it was done by the Houthis, they are Iran’s proxies. The question is whether Iran took a direct hand in the attack, or was involved in the Houthis’ actions, providing personnel as well as equipment and/or intelligence.

Saudi Arabia has 50 M270 MRLS systems. They should move half of them to Khafi which is only about 80 miles from Kharg Island.
Send a full load from each, to be followed up with a large number of AH64D Apache attack helicopters to mop up, and/or advise if another M270 salvo is needed.
Have a few of their F-15's flying top cover for the choppers. All other Fighters on alert to scramble in case the Iranians don't get the point.
We could provide targeting intel and resupply, but no other involvement.

No. Non directional, and not phased array. That’s a receiver, not a transmitter.

Well, actually that’s picture is of San Vito, where I was.
I’ve been to the one at RAF Chicksands, too. We also had the FLR-9 at Misawa, Japan and Elmendorf in Alaska. I think at Osan, Korea also?
The array in the Global Earth pic ASA Vet posted vaguely reminds me of the antennas at Iraklion, Crete.

Also Ramasun, Thailand at the 7th RRFS.
That one is the origin of the nickname, "Elephant Cage."

Here is an article on the ‘elephant cage’ history. the circular design is based on the Wullenweber technology was developed by the German navy communication research command. I just finished reading a book about US Cold War hunting of Soviet subs that had quite a bit about it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wullenweber
The book is: “Red November: Inside the Secret U.S.-Soviet Submarine War,” by W. Craig Reed

The site of the Flr-9 in Ramasun in now a museum. The Thai are calling it an American 'radar' site.
In 2000 I drove past it, and the large poles were still visible from the street. Doing a google street view now they're not visible due to tree growth.

I was also at OSAN - don’t recall an elephant cage but planes we “didn’t have there” would circle for altitude every morning and circle back in come evening time....
