Ninety percent of Americans, Democrats and Republicans, agree that we need a fix to the problem of gun violence in this country.

I've been hearing numbers like this often. Juan Williams, one of FOX's liberal talking puppets, used 89%.

Where does this number come from? Was it pulled out of the air through a Lefty media points push-list?

Note that at the same time that Dems want gun control, they want to pretty much empty the prisons of the people who cause the problems using guns. Hello, Kate Steinle.

That’s their latest talking point. I want something done about the gun problem too, but I’m sure my ideas are nothing like the liberals.

Like most fake statistics it isn't worth the time to look up who made it up. And it is probably true to some extent if you ask the right question. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of the population would agree with the statement:

"Do you think it would be good for the country if less people were killed by crazy lunatics shooting up movie theaters, schools, churches and night clubs."

The 10% who did not agree most likely don't speak English and misunderstood the question.

Activists often ask questions designed to skew the results, and then of course ask the questions to particular subsets of people to get the answer they want to hear.

And then we get the "everybody agrees" BS repeated endlessly when in fact everybody does not agree on real questions about the issue.
