BERCOW BOOTED Tories set to ‘depose Speaker Bercow’ in next election after his furious blast..

TORIES are set to rip up years of convention and depose Speaker Bercow at the next election - after his furious blast at Michael Gove last night.

The Conservatives are getting ready to break with long-standing rules and line up a Brexiteer to take on the Commons Speaker in his Buckingham constituency, according to The Telegraph.

At the moment it's a tradition that no other major party runs any candidate against the Speaker, giving them a clear shot at winning.

In 2010 only Nigel Farage, then Ukip leader, and several independent candidates ran against him.

This means there's not a huge risk of the Speaker being booted out mid-way through their term in office.

But Speaker Bercow has been accused of bias and helping pro-Remain MPs from ripping up rules in the Commons to thwart Brexit.

Last night he got into a spat with Michael Gove - even using his children in a deeply personal attack on the MP.

There’s a comedy show on BBC4 called “Dead Ringers.” Their outlook is predictably BBC leftist- but they do hilarous imitations and skits involving Bercow, Corbyn, Boris Johnson and Trump.

Bercow’s signature is his ORRRDERRRR!

Parliamentary procedure is so incomprehensible that I have no idea what’s going on...granted, things don’t work well in our system, but it’s a l title more clear cut.

In a Westminster Parliamentary system, the Speaker of the House suppose to be a non-partisan position. Obviously this Bercow is not that.

What is your opinion of why Rees-Mogg was lounging laid back like this:

Didn't care about the optics or the optics were on purpose?

He is extremely obnoxious, but in a distinctly British way that makes it embarrassing to admit that it has its charm on occasions.

500 years of rules, and tradition with no clear idea where a lot of it came from.

For all purposes, Brexit may have been done already if it wasn’t for some goofy thing that allows some peer to invoke a rule created in like 1670, originally meant to stop all business so that all of parliament can gather outdoors to smoke clay pipes and lawn bowl... to be used in 2019 to somehow delay leaving the EU.

guy talking now says you have to be able to walk away from a deal in order to be able to negotiate.

why do so many people ignore this common sense.

The Parliament put too much power into the Speaker’s hands, depending on his integrity to guide him. He has betrayed Britain and needs to be dealt with like the other Tory traitors.

vote is 298 to 56 for election but they need 2/3 vote to pass the law according to a law passed about 2011

I thought that Betty Boothroyd was good. She didn't strike me as being biased toward any Party, group or individual.

This current guy is the type whose wife would be schtupping everyone but the janitor...which his wife actually did.

I used to watch Question Time a lot when C-SPAN started hosting it. Betty Boothroyd was Speaker. My Mom and I called her Betty Boop. She was entertaining, and you’d never have guessed she was a Labour Party supporter.
