I hate to be the pessimist of the bunch but Boris is gonna get ####ed by more people.

We do not know what horse trading went on behind the scenes, but one can be sure that for “Remainers”, party label is irrelevant. Many of these chameleons can flit between parties with very little difficulty. Their only allegiances are to globalism, progressivism, socialism. And they are very well funded.
I suspect that if there is an election today, the Brexit party could do very well, but the establishment “conservatives” would rather lose and give the Commons to Corbyn, perhaps with a secret back room deal that Corbyn not push too much socialism.
Disappointing but in no way surprising. We are in a decades old culture war. If we want to win, we have to look long term. That means getting our children out of government schools.
